Quick Start Guide
Tripod Set Up

1. Insert the mast into the tripod base and use a 1/2" wrench to tighten and secure it.

2. Secure the solar panel mount onto the mast by tightening the four bolts. Make sure the panel is facing South-SouthWest with open sky above.

3. Secure the MV1 to the mast using the 2 hose clamps.

4. Attach the positive and negative clips from the solar panel to the battery and check the charge controller to ensure the battery is being charged.

5. Insert and secure the power connector from the battery into the port on the bottom of the MV1.

6. There are two antenna ports on either side of the MV1: the cellular port on the right side and the GPS port on the left side. Insert and secure both antennas.

7. Securely attach the PM inlet adaptor to the PM inlet on top of the MV1.
Power On

8. Open the door and flip the switch down to power on the device.
What to Expect Upon Start Up
- The PID pump will start immediately while the communication device begins initialization.
- After approximately 30 seconds, the display will initialize while the device makes first contact with the data center.
- Once first contact is complete, the sensors will begin recording and will display real-time readings for PM2.5, PM10, and VOCs.
